PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, a subsidiary under Pertamina focusing on commercial and trading activities, has officially started operating the Aircraft Filling Depot (DPPU) at Dhoho Kediri Airport. This move is part of a collaboration with PT Surya Dhoho Investama (SDI), a subsidiary of PT Gudang Garam Tbk, and marks a strategic partnership aimed at ensuring the provision of high-quality and reliable aviation fuel services.

The Dhoho Kediri Airport, a National Strategic Project (PSN) developed by SDI, is seen as a key infrastructure development that will support the Indonesian tourism industry and economy by accommodating a high number of flights. The airport boasts one of the longest runways in Indonesia, at 3,300 meters.

This partnership was formalized through the signing of a Master Cooperation Agreement and a Commercial Cooperation Agreement in Jakarta. The agreements focus on providing top-tier service and safety standards, emphasizing a commitment to "zero accidents, zero delays, zero off-spec, zero tolerance, and zero mistakes."

Pertamina Patra Niaga will manage the DPPU at Dhoho Kediri Airport, marking it as the 71st DPPU they operate in Indonesia. The supply of aviation turbine fuel (avtur) to this depot is facilitated directly by a fleet of avtur tank cars from DPPU Juanda in Surabaya.

The collaboration also involves SDI's commitment to building and operating the DPPU in accordance with both national and international standards, ensuring that the airport's fueling needs are met efficiently, especially during peak travel times like the Christmas and New Year season.

The partnership between Pertamina Patra Niaga and SDI represents a significant step towards integrating private sector capabilities and resources in developing critical national infrastructure, highlighting the potential for similar collaborative efforts in the future.
