Former Gorelovo airfield to be redeveloped

The former Gorelovo airfield in St. Petersburg will be transferred at no cost to the Alcor Group of Companies for development, according to a report by Fontanka. This decision was detailed in a protocol from the Russian Government Commission for the Development of Housing Construction. The transfer includes 292 hectares of land, 24 non-residential buildings, one unfinished building, and the airfield's runways and taxiways. This area is intended to become part of a tourist and recreational cluster.

Currently, the site is owned by the Federal State Institution “North-Western Territorial Administration of Property Relations” under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
